What does BDF Architectural supply and install?
BDF Architectural is a commercial glazing contractor supplying and installing curtain walling, rainscreen and façade systems, fire rated glazing, brise soleil and commercial doors, alongside aluminium bifold and sliding doors, windows and roof glazing for homes.
Do you work for main contractors and developers?
Yes. We take on commercial glazing packages for main contractors, developers and architects across London and the UK, from technical review of the drawings through fabrication in West Drayton, sequenced delivery and installation to handover.
Where are your systems manufactured?
In our own 60,000+ sq ft facility in West Drayton, west London, where profiles are CNC machined, fabricated and checked before delivery. Our showroom is in West Drayton too.
Which areas does BDF Architectural cover?
We install across London, Surrey, Berkshire, Essex and Kent, and supply our aluminium products UK-wide, including Greater Manchester, where installation is arranged project by project. Our base is in West Drayton, on the western edge of London.
Do you offer supply-only or installation as well?
Both. You can buy our aluminium doors and windows supply-only if you have your own installer, or choose full supply and fit, which includes a site survey, professional installation and our guarantee.
Which aluminium systems do you use?
Schüco, Cortizo and Aluprof aluminium, and Jansen steel. The right system depends on the budget, the sightlines wanted and the performance the project needs.
How much do aluminium bifold doors cost?

Are aluminium bifold doors better than uPVC?
For most projects, yes. Aluminium is stronger, so it allows slimmer frames, larger glass panes and lower thresholds, and it typically lasts longer with a longer guarantee. uPVC can be a cheaper option for smaller openings or tighter budgets.
