Glazing in Kent: conversions, conservation and two National Landscapes
Rural Kent has oast houses, barn conversions and weatherboarded cottages, and converted farm buildings are a common source of large glazed openings: a barn’s cart or threshing-bay doorway is often re-glazed with slim aluminium sliding or bifold doors.
