Overview
A commercial glazing package for a mixed-use development on Pentonville Road in the London Borough of Islington. BDF Architectural delivered a high-performance curtain wall system across the full façade, combining slim aluminium sightlines with thermally broken profiles to meet both planning requirements and energy targets on this prominent North London street.
The photographs show a stone-clad building of apartments over a glazed ground floor, with bronze-finish aluminium frames throughout: full-height glazing at entrance level, window and door sets behind glass-balustraded balconies on every floor, and bronze-framed folding doors opening onto the balconies from the living rooms.
