About Aluprof MB-86N Pivot Doors
A pivot door turns on an axis set in from the edge rather than on hinges, which lets a very large, heavy leaf open smoothly and almost silently. The Aluprof MB-86N Pivot Door uses an off-centre pivot with hinges rated up to 500kg, so the leaf can be up to 2m wide and 3.4m high — a statement entrance for a large house or a commercial lobby. Thick multi-chamber profiles, advanced gaskets and insulating glass up to 60mm give thermal performance of Ud from 0.73 W/m²K and good noise insulation. Double-sided locking, burglar resistance to RC2 or RC3 and ST, SI and SI+ thermal variants are available, in any RAL colour. We supply and install MB-86N pivot doors across London and the South East.
