About 2 Panel Bifold Doors
A 2 panel bifold door is the smallest bifold set we make, for openings up to about 1.8 metres wide. One panel is a traffic door that opens on its own like a normal back door, and the pair folds and slides to one side when you want the whole opening clear. It is the usual choice to replace a single back door or a pair of French doors, to open a small kitchen or side-return extension onto the garden, or for a balcony where a hinged door would swing into the room. Each set is made to measure in aluminium, opening inward or outward, with a flush or weathered threshold. Our guide price is £2,400 to £3,600 supplied and fitted including VAT. Wider than about 1.8 metres, a 3 panel set keeps each panel to a manageable size.
