About Schüco AS FD 75/90.HI Bifold Doors
The Schüco AS FD 75/90.HI is a German-engineered folding door system in two variants, AS FD 75 and AS FD 90.HI, designed for residential and commercial use. It has slim sightlines, flush-fitted frames and a high glass-to-frame ratio, so the set reads as a wall of glass when closed. There are three threshold options, down to an ultra-low 4mm profile for near-level access, and the system is tested to PAS 24 with burglar resistance to RC 2. We fabricate and install it to the exact opening across London and the South East, or supply it to the trade.
We make three Schüco bifold systems as a Schüco Residential Partner, and this is the one to start with for a rear extension or garden opening: panels up to 1500mm wide and 3500mm high, a U-value of 1.0 W/m²K, and the choice of a 71mm weathered threshold where the doors face the weather or a 15mm or 4mm threshold for near-level access to the patio. The Schüco ASS 70 FD is the alternative where the leaves need to slide to both sides of the opening, and Schüco cornerless bifold doors open a corner of the building with no post. A side-hung daily access door lets one leaf be used as an everyday door without folding the set.
How much do bifold doors cost? Our bifold door price guide sets out supplied-and-fitted guide prices for every panel count, from 2 to 7 panels.
