5 Panel Bifold Doors
About 5 Panel Bifold Doors
A 5 panel bifold door suits openings of about 3.2 to 4.0 metres: wide extensions, garden-facing rooms and the full rear elevation of many houses. With an odd number of panels there is always a traffic door. A 4+1 split folds four panels to one side and keeps the fifth as an everyday door; a 3+2 split opens the set from both ends. Every set is made to measure in aluminium, opening inward or outward, with flush or weathered thresholds and double glazing as standard. Our guide price is £4,600 to £7,200 supplied and fitted including VAT. For openings wider than about 4 metres, 6 and 7 panel sets cover spans up to about 5.6 metres; the bifold cost guide sets out those prices too.
